The Chamber of Commerce is Now Surveying Mason County Residents on Their Shopping Habits
Shop Local campaigns are being conducted throughout the United States in an attempt to revive downtown centers and retain small businesses. As such, the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce has been developing Make It Mason County, a Buy Local Program, for the past several months.
As part of the development process the Chamber, in conjunction with representatives from the City of Ludington and Scottville Main Street, has created a survey which will help determine how often and why people shop local and use local services. In addition, the survey will also provide information on what people are purchasing or services used that are not locally owned.
The information gathered from the survey will be used to establish a Shop Local Program with the goal to benefit all Ludington & Scottville Area Small businesses.
