HARVEST FESTIVAL KIDS PARADE AND THE MASON COUNTY CENTRAL HOMECOMING PARADE WILL “COME TOGETHER” FOR 2009
Organizers of the 2009 Harvest Festival and a representative from the Mason County Central Homecoming committee have met and adjusted the annual Harvest Festival Kids Parade route as well as the MCC Homecoming Parade route in order to “Come Together” and enhance the annual Kids Parade and Homecoming Parade scheduled for Friday, September 25.
The parade is scheduled to step off at 6:00 p.m. and will begin at the St. Jeromes Church parking lot (corner of Reinberg and State St.) travel across US 10 heading North on Reinberg then West on Beryl and end in the Mason County Central Middle school parking lot. Parents will be able to pick children up in the middle school parking lot.
The Kids Parade entries will be judged for the best use of this year’s festival theme at 5:30 p.m. in the Church Parking lot. The Mason County Central Homecoming theme is Clash of Super Hero’s.
Kids Parade entry forms can be picked up at the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Scottville.
In addition, Harvest Festival Grand Parade applications are available at the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Scottville, and Scottville Main Street Offices. Applications are also available to download on the Chamber website, www.ludington.org.
