Again this year we will be doing gift wrapping at the Bookmark. It will be on the Saturdays, before Christmas, ( Nov. 28th - Dec, 5th, 12th, and 19th. ) You can bring in any gifts you would like wrapped for a donation...All proceeds go to COVE'S Shelter and Christmas House for the women and children in shelter, and the out reach program after being in the shelter. Well I know its been a while since I updated and I wanted to bring people up to speed.
First the Cancer has gotten worse. The Dr's say they are no longer going for a cure. It is now to a point of keeping me compfortable and prolonging my life. They said that they will keep fighting as long as I am willing and able. I'm not ready to let go just yet. Hospice has now became a very important part of my life and I don't know what I would do with out them.

Organizers of the 2009 Harvest Festival and a representative from the Mason County Central Homecoming committee have met and adjusted the annual Harvest Festival Kids Parade route as well as the MCC Homecoming Parade route in order to “Come Together” and enhance the annual Kids Parade and Homecoming Parade scheduled for Friday, September 25.

Starting at 12:00 PM today we only have 24 hours to place the last of the Exchange students for International Student Exchange (ISE). Connections with Students and Host Families need to be in the computer by 5:00 PM tomorrow.

Alot of Law Enforcement local tasering going on lately in the last 6 months or less. Any comments? Pro or Against? Personally, I think this new arsenal is over the top, 50,000 volts,torture? and too many lethal uses for no reason or rhyme in the US. You really find out what a wonderful community you live in when so many bad things are happening and your neighbors come out in force to help.
We finally have hope of being able to move on.
Yes our house is still going to be taken for foreclosure as of the 20th of August. We still have not found any place to go. so if anyone has a house thats empty that they are willing to rent to us we would very much appreciate it.
