What is your connection to Ludington?
I live here, but first,
AVATAR CHANGE: For all those kind souls on Ludington Talks who think Kool Aid is the favorite drink of liberals. LOL! Kind of like being a Lutheran. If you get the drift. ;)

Actually I love all the beaches here. It's just a matter of what mood I'm in.

I live here in Ludington. I've been connected to this place for decades by the people, the forests, the lakes and rivers and all the critters who make this place their home.

I'm an independent free spirit. I love my family and friends, people of all kinds, the great outdoors, this country, animals, snorkling, hiking, satisfying work, creativity and walking around in the moonlight. I love to read, paint, write, eat, cook, quilt and decorate my home. I hate egg yolks and liver. Everything else can be made edible.

I love most of all to laugh - at myself and at this crazy, beautiful world with all it's truths and inconsistencies.

My passion has always been dogs. I used to rescue terriers - the small shaggy type - but I've given it up because I always end of keeping them.

Peace, laughter and love to all who visit here.

Thanks for your pleasant comments on my page. May we continue to debate in a manner in which we do not go for each other's jugular, but only for the taste of blood after a successfully made point. Just so you don't accuse me-- I don't have TV service (so I don't listen to Foxnews), listen to music on the radio (no Limbaugh, etc.) and am skeptical of any reporting that has the reporter's opinion. My exposure is basically limited to the 'youtubes' people post and the stuff I may pick up when visitting friends. As you may have guessed, I do not embrace liberal or communist ideals. I embrace capitalism, common sense, and common people.

Thanks for the help on the Soup site, but it still didn't work for me. My email address is reelrascal2@earthlink.net if you or Behr could help further. Must be a gliche of some sort. Many thanks. KN

Happy Thanksgiving and Holidays to ya Z. Favor? I am working out of town right now and on a different computer too. I can't log into Lakeshore Soup for some reason. All that google spits back is soup recipes/clubs. Have you got the exact log-on text so I can get back there. Thanks. KN

Hi Voula - You've got a point about the way we talk to each other on this forum. Wow it gets ugly sometimes. Christina is right about not talking to people in person the way we do on this forum. I think one of the reasons people come on here is to blow off steam at the whole, sorry state of the economy.
I'm doing great, thanks for asking! We really had such a cool summer that it does seem Fall is here way too early. I guess it could be worse, though, did you see the news from Pennsylvania this morning?? It's been snowing steadily since Thursday. Usually their temps are in the 60s this time of the year. I think we better batten down the hatches. We're in for a long, cold one! I love the big feast days, though. It's so much fun to make the traditional dishes and get together with family and friends to enjoy it all. Back atcha later, Voula.

Hi Zannie, I will tell here that you said hello. I think that she got burned out of the way that people treat eachother on here. I don't blame her. Sometimes I feel like people don't want to be on here to discuss Ludington Topics, they just want to be on here to argue with other people. The same people that they probably see in the local grocery store once or twice a week. I really find it nonsensical. I hope that you are doing okay though! I can't believe that Halloween is around the corner, and before you know it, Thanksgiving!! My how time flies. Talk to you soon, Voula

Wow, I haven't thought about Joe in years. No I don't know what happened to him, last I heard I think they were moving out of state. He used to live in the front apartment across the street from the restaurant upstairs from the looking glass. Before he moved I bought a lot of his furniture. I don't know why I had french toast on the brain all day yesterday, isn't that funny?

Do you mean the lady that is so gray that she is blonde? If you are then yes that is my mom. She is a friend on my page if you want to look and see if we are talking about the same person. She is in the pix at the restaurant with my dad. Yes I am kind of addicted to the bread myself have been my whole life. Nothing like being home on a cold Sunday Autumn morning, homemade french toast cooking up on the skillet, and warm maple syrup!! YUMMY!! You are making me hungry!LOL Anyway I am glad that you enjoy the food, it is sort of an icon in this town isn't it? Great to hear from you!
